Mercedes Benz - Star Agility 3D Animation
This animation project features a creative and dynamic approach that uses Transformers characters, depicted as Mercedes Benz and other cars, to showcase the various features of the Mercedes-Benz program, Star Agility Plus. The project utilized stock 3D assets of Transformers and Benz cars to create the foundational models, while landscapes and additional elements were developed entirely from scratch to create a unique and engaging environment.
The animation process was enhanced by using base animations from Mixamo, which were blended with various sequences to achieve the animation sets required. The entire animation sequence and rendering was done in Unreal Engine. A standout shot in the animation was the simulation of rocks shattering, executed within Unreal Engine using the Chaos Physics system.
Post-production work, including editing, sfx, and motion graphics, was performed in Adobe After Effects. This was an internal showcase video used by the Mercedes Benz team to showcase thier features to potential customers and marketing teams.
